KL Surprised!
An indication of not showing-up didn’t make the actual turnout unnatural, but to all our surprise, it was a really good night. I wish that night did not end so soon. But let’s face it, we can’t have all the fun without facing the consequences of it in another way.
The night was filled with surprises, with the menu that looks like a proposal in presentation, seems too business-like at first sight. The speed of our food and drinks served were however, slightly too relaxed based on the first impression that took precedent. Nonetheless, the prolonged absence of food did not alter the mood for a good laugh and catching up among very close acquaintances. The familiar tunes of ever-audible lounge music and fading next-table conversations was such a perfect setting for relaxation. Whenever the gals get together, all hell will break loose with nasty gossips and jokes. Well, it’s only natural…
The highlight of the night was the sudden burst of Happy Birthday tune sung by the crew and one of us felt completely overwhelmed by the a-little-too-early birthday surprise. The expression was priceless and our heartiest gift seems to have worked perfectly well, maybe because nature has taken its toll and decided on giving the hard-working gals, a really good break.
Towards the end of the night, the tunnel of thousand lights, changes its colour like a chameleon, where we walked through it and it felt dazzling.
